Suzuki LT 500 Airbox Lid Lug Repair Kit (87-92)

These parts are installed over the original airbox lid lugs for the 1987 - 1990 Suzuki LT500R Quadracer.

On some airboxes, the lugs are too worn down for the Edge Case Works airbox lid latches to work properly. These replacement parts fix the problem.

These lugs will not work with the OEM airbox lid.

The parts are made from durable, UV-resistant ASA material.

In the box:

2 - Replacement Airbox Lugs w/ 3M VHB Adhesive

1 - Abrasive Pad

2 - Alcohol Wipes

Airbox Lug Installation:

1 - Scrub and clean the lug area with the grey abrasive pad and water or isopropyl alcohol, and allow to dry.

2 - Wipe the lug area with the included alcohol wipes and allow to dry.

3 - Remove the red backing from the replacement lug adhesive and install it on the airbox over the existing lug. The longer portion of the replacement lug should point towards the bottom of the airbox. (See pictures in listing.)

4 - Install the airbox lid to apply pressure to the adhesive for a better bond.
